My leopard spots represent my personal commitment to my inner wildness. As women, we are cultured to be obedient, to not speak up, and to be of service selflessly. My leopard spots remind my to live my truth, to challenge authority when necessary and to tend to the part of me that is unfettered by the dominant culture. They remind me to dance outdoors under the moon, to tap into my inner current of sensuality that I identify as my feminine essence, and to be truly present with the glorious sensory experiences of life. In this troubled world, these acts are truly revolutionary.
