Got A Tattoo? Gordon Ross Photography Is Looking For You

I have an exhibit and a book in the works and want to include you. For the next three months, I’m calling on anyone who has a tattoo to take part in Tattoo + You: A Photo Story of Body Ink.

 (Gordon Ross)

The exhibit opening and book launch will take place this coming fall. The event is about telling peoples’ stories through a series of tattoo portraits and words.

More details about the event will be announced over the next few months.

Stay tuned…

  1. I would LOVE to participate!!! I have a Theta tattoo and a great story behind it as well.

    Send me an e-mail.

  2. I have many tattoos.. many stories.. many more to go. I am a photographer and love nothing more then photography + ink.. I live in Powell River BC.

  3. I recently had a tattoo done of a butterfly wing on my back. It’s is very large and covers half of one side, mostly in black and gray with small pops of colour. I had it done in the memory of my beautiful daughter that passed away at 18 days old. If you would like to see it, please let me know and I can email you a photo.
    Thank you for your consideration.

    • Hi Lori

I emailed you the other day … can you let me know if you got the email? And yes, I would love to honour you and the memory of your daughter by including you in Tattoo + You: A Photo Story of Body Ink.

      Thanks and bye for now.

  4. Hi Gordon, I have a tattoo of a labris on my back, one I visualized and designed with the help of an artist who then did the tattoo work. It’s my first and likely only tattoo. I had it done two years ago when I was 55. The labris, a two headed hatchet, is related to women of Crete, labyrinths, bulls, butterflies, power, strength, courage and determination. As soon as I visualized this image (and I guess that’s the real story) I knew it was going to be a tattoo on my body. I’d never wanted a tattoo before that, and have never wanted one since. But I love the one I have. Anne

  5. Hey there,

I’m covered fairly heavily in tattoos and most have a decent story behind them. I’d love to be a part of this project if there is still time. I’ll shoot you an e-mail as well.

    Cheers,

    Samuel
